Im Schlussvers von Goethes Gedicht "Diner zu Coblenz" heißt es: Prophete rechts, Prophete links, das Weltkind
in der Mitten. In meinem Bild befindet sich das Weltkind in der Mitte zwischen Himmel und Hölle. Dabei geht
es in der Hölle wild und deftig, im Himmel eher schön und langweilig zu.

In the last verse of Goethe's poem “Diner to Coblenz” it is said: Prophete right, Prophete left, the world child in
in the middle. In my picture is the world child in the center between sky and hell. It happens to be hearty and wildly
in the hell and in the sky rather beautifully and boringly.
