1979 Class picture, Oil on canvas, 67cm*47cm

I portrayed this picture from my daughter Bettina’s first grade class photo. Bettina is sitting in the middle of the front
row. The well-liked teacher, Mrs. Stegman, is seen in the upper right. I needed to create a realistic picture to impress my
father-in-law because he was of the opinion I was only able to paint "Nonsense". Yet I have to apply much more effort
into the creation of a “Nonsense Picture”, than into a picture where everything is so obviously portrayed.
